The Black Diamond Focus is primarily an edging shoe, but it will suit any boulderer, sport climber, or trad climber seeking a shoe with all-round performance and a particular strength on small footholds. The slightly downturned last and medium asymmetry will provide a good balance of precision and comfort on small holds and longer climbs, but the stiff-flex midsole means the Focus will excel on longer climbs especially. And, to increase comfort even further on longer routes, the leather upper will stretch up to a full size and completely mould to your foot’s unique shape.
